So let me get this right: instead of paying for a seminar to continue to grow your education, you decide to fly all the way to Vegas to “hang outside” the convention room, and as reported by the submitter of this post, just pay to attend the parties???
This industry is in shambles. How cheap are DJs getting?
Your wedding, sweet 16, school event, corporate party, whatever you plan, is important to you, right?
Why, oh dear God why would you hire some schlep to ruin all your hard work as guests leave in disgust?
You wouldn't do that, right? WHO WOULD? Oh, plenty would!
I don’t care who reported this…It is not what it seems to be. I use the week in LV as a vacation time. I go to network with old friends and make new ones and this was my 12th year to attend. The video speaks for itself. Now get a real job and don’t worry so much about what other people do.
I must say that while you have a good website, very informational. I applaud your spare time in making sure that, someone sees your hard work into bashing folks who play music(note I did not call them DJ’s).
I would say that Big E who has been doing this for years, is a very awesome guy and does more networking than most other folks I know! He was just having a good time and I would really think that you would be more selective in lumping him in with your BAD DJ’s..who are listed here..which are really amusing.
Kerry: It’s a cop out many DJs use. There was a $500 DJ who said they want to go to Vegas but can’t afford it. This video basically said “im going to hang outside a convention that’s relevant to the industry.” This is like hanging outside a theatre and then ask for a synopsis from those that paid to go.
Zach. and perhaps he is a great guy and maybe an awesome DJ. All awesome DJs should consider themselves leaders. How can you set an example for those that are new to the industry when you do what I described above?

My point still stands. You either network to expand and grow your buisness or you vacation. Doing both at the same time is a cop out.
Why is it a cop out?

Thanks for your time,
